Meeting with the Dean Candidates for the Faculty of Social Sciences will take place on 27 September

Margit Keller, Associate Professor in Social Communication and Head of the Centre for Sustainable Development, and Janno Lahe, Professor of Tort Law, Acting Dean and Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of the Faculty of Social Sciences, are candidates for the position of Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences.

The meeting of the dean candidates with staff and students of the Faculty of Social Sciences will take place on 27 September at 15:15 in room 1018 of the Delta building. The meeting will be chaired by Anneli Saro, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities. The meeting will be held in Estonian.

The meeting can be followed in the auditorium or via UTTV. There will be an opportunity to ask questions in the auditorium, but there will be no opportunity for viewers of the broadcast to ask running questions. Please submit your questions by 25 September via the online form.

The student representatives of the field will invite the dean candidates to a separate meeting with students on 21 September at 15:00.

Voting for dean candidates will take place electronically at elections.ut.ee. The first round of voting will take place on 3 October from 00.00-18.00. If necessary, a second round of voting will take place on 4 October. The third round will be held on 5 October. If necessary, a third round of voting will be held on 5 October.

On 26 August, from 14:15 to 15:45, Sabine Andresen, Professor of Social Pedagogy and Family Research at the Department of Educational Science, Goethe-University Frankfurt am Main, will give a public lecture "Lessons from survivors’ reports about child sexual abuse. The Independent Inquiry into child sexual abuse in Germany", in Room 215 at Lossi 36.
